Ooo...my parents are the prime example of fear mania. They love to travel, but every time they hear something about some place, they become biase to that location. The news is always all hype. Look who got shot today, look who got murdered. They say Mexico is a dangerous place, but people I know who go to travel say it's normal and relatively safe, even more safe compared to some places in the US. Of course, always research and stay vigilant and don't be flashing your $10,000 Rolex around.
