I could never figure out what sort of a need hides behind the urge to leave a signature on a train wagon. Everything under heaven has a reason but I could never fully comprehend this particular form of self-expression, some might call vandalism.
I inquired with the scribblers, who believe to be 'artists', about their hobby. They were not stingy with explanations as to why they do it. Apparently, it is about the thrill of being caught, mixed with an urge to leave a mark in this world. A teen rebellion, perhaps? Lack of direction, as well? Nothing better to do?
A game of ego is what I believe tops it all. Not sure if you notice but all of these are only overblown forms of signatures. They literary signed the train wagons. This practice comes from the early beginnings of street graffiti when one 'tagged' a wall and 'reserved his right' to draw on it later on and evolved into drawing the actual signatures.
In time, less and less art-proficient people started buying spray paints and pretended they could draw, the whole thing became about 'tagging', not about coming back to actually draw something over the tag. No sane person can mind a beautifully painted graffiti over some grey, devastated building. If trains were made beautiful with some awesome imagery, I would really love it and enjoy it. There is a difference.
Anyway, no matter of the effort, the number of security cameras turned on, who can stop a teenager from fulfilling wild plans? High fines and organized infiltrations would make sense and would yield results but there is so many real crime going on that we should probably just leave the kids alone and be thankful they're just scribbling the train cars, not robbing gas stations or killing each other over nothing.

In youth, adolescents are so-called "maximalists" or rebels. They all do not recognize the system, they are more "bright (synonym - strong)" react to what is happening. You put it right, sometimes they just have nothing to do and they are looking for a job. It is very good if these classes are peaceful and do not pose a health hazard. Among the graffiti artists, I rarely saw people who have a large age. Usually these are young young people who want to prove themselves. In many cases, such art really hums the gray walls of old buildings. We can say that in such areas they do a useful service to society.
For example, in one of the districts of my town there is an empty building. Since ancient times, children have played there and endangered their lives. Therefore, the city authorities closed all the entrances to this building. But recently the entrance was hacked and homeless people settled there. They lived there all winter. But even now they continue to live there. They simply have nowhere else to go. The saddest thing is that recently children have appeared .... about 15-16 years. There are girls and boys. These "children" (in other words assholes) throw stones at these homeless people. They break their heads and try in every possible way to humiliate them. This behavior is simply disgusting. There are people who want to catch and teach those scum. In any case, it would be better if these children painted graffiti and did not beat innocent people.

Can not be used as an answer in art. Expression in art or artistic expression is a new genre in expression. Called new because of the expression in the words translated into processes and processes that have to endeavor to achieve it.
An artist will not be directly or spontaneously able to manifest his work due to fear, anxiety, joy, sadness and so forth. The feelings he experienced must be suspended first (made object) into a memory, memories and experiences for him.
When the feeling is already processed by the artist into the object, then in the current mood, feeling full of passion in the work and art, the artist can realize his work. Works of art that are born using a process that will bring universal values, which others can feel as well as what ever experienced by the artist.

I've been reading some of your post since i started steemit. Your approach in art is unique specifically in graphics... you made it into a different result or making some twist about your subject, sorry i dont jave an exact words to describe your approach but its really amazing. I have been into photography, photo editing and designing using Photoshop. This is the first time I saw a train like that. It's weird but I think it's not that bad to add some designs on a train :)

Those who do it wants to be famous by signaturing on the train so that more people see there work!
