#STEEMGIGS PHOTO EDITING TUTORIAL #102: HEY LADY, MAY I KNOW YOUR NAME?

Hi guys, I'm here again to discuss to you some of the important techniques in editing picture. I will be using 2 separate pictures of a man and a woman and we will gonna edit it as if it's their first meeting. I'll be using layer mask techniques in editing layers of images.

In this tutorial I am using again the pictures from pexels.com :

Man image:

Woman image:

PROCEDURES:

1. First, launch Photoshop.

2. Click File -> New, then set the page using the setting shown below then click OK button.
   

3. Click File -> Place, then select the Man's image. Press Enter key.

4. Click File -> Place, then select the Woman's image. Press the Enter key.
   Make sure that you have this layer arrangement as shown in the image.
   

Now, let's do the editing proper.

1. Click Quick Selection tool.
   

2. Drag the mouse to select region to hide. Hold Alt-key to deselect region which is not suppose to be hidden but is selected. Click Refine Edge button to refine the edge of the selection as seen in the image below.
   

3. Once completely and properly define the region to hide, hold down Alt-Key while pressing the Add Layer Mask button.
   

4. Do some resizing if necessary. Erase some dirt in the layer if necessary.
