Exploring Petra, Jordan- DTUBE VIDEO

I would like to share with you a video I put together yesterday while it was a rainy day, of our adventure to the city of Petra in Jordan.
The whole time being at Petra felt like we were on a movie set. The landscape is so amazing!
It is an experience to following the old silk road through the gorge to make your way to the Treasury which is the start of the city of petra.
There is many cool caves to explore in the city, where people used to live all the way up to the mid 80's.
Camels, Donkeys, cats, goats and the dogs that follow you up the mountains are some of the animals you will meet around the city.

We climbed up one of the gorges to get a birds eye view of the Treasury.

Then we made our way up the mountain to the Monastery.
Along the way we meet up with some locals, and this little girl and her pet goat. they were so cute.
We helped her parents put up a tent so they could sell treasures to other tourists walking by. A couple of Hi 5's after we got the tent up and we were back on our way.
The Monastery was well worth climbing all those stairs , just watch out for the donkeys climbing up the stairs with supplies and them coming back down the stairs with the quickness haha.

Once you reach the Monastery it was the perfect time to kick back and enjoy some lunch with an amazing view of the old building.
Everything about Petra is breathtaking, the colours in the sandstone rocks, the surrounding landscapes makes you feel like your in a western movie or the classic Indiana Jones film, I highly recommend visiting Petra if you ever have the chance. Just make sure you have some good walking shoes on.
