Luxurious earthen holes

“Kochorite” is another vilny settlement in Pamporovo, as well as “Amampuria”. Only he is on the other side of the ski resort. Literally 1 km from the ski lift.

Here you can live in winter and summer. The houses were built in the traditional Rhodopian style, on the roofs instead of tiling tiles, such a special stone, which is also mined here - in the Rhodopes.

It's great to celebrate the new year, because the village is in the real forest! The houses have three levels, at the lowest level, where there is a warm garage, there are saunas and a fitness room. In general, the new year can be celebrated in Russian, and the Christmas tree to dress up in the yard.

As you have already noticed, the houses are dug into the hill. Above the ground only the upper floors stick out - everything else is underground. So warmer. A sort of hobbit houses, just oversized :-)

In the village, of course, there are attendants. Family, they live here. Watchmen, clean, maintain the garden, the greens from which goes to the cafe right there at the complex. They also keep goats, chickens and huge Bulgarian shepherd dogs. Bulgarian goat yoghurt is made from goat milk, which is served in the same restaurant. In short, subsistence farming.

Living room with kitchen box on the second level. There is everything you need. With us we brought only products. But they often ate at a local establishment, because it’s very tasty, everything is natural and cheap. Dinner for three costs about 7 euros.

The third level, there are bedrooms. We had two bedrooms. There are houses with three bedrooms. Lamps made of real copper cow bells!

Bed linen is also there. All bedspreads, carpets and drapes made of pure sheep wool!

Bathrooms by number of bedrooms. True no bath. But in the basement Finnish sauna!

Sauna.

Rent for the winter was then 92 euros per day. This includes everything that is visible in the house, plus the costs of water, firewood, current. The smallest house - with two bedrooms, that is, for 4 people.

In summer the rent was cheaper - 65 euros per day.

Naturally, if you rent for more than three days, there will be package discounts and free breakfasts. And it is worth it: Immediately and berries, and mushrooms, and their milk. Unusual game! However, the houses have a TV and the Internet.
