Daydreaming travel - Streets of São Paulo #1 / Calles de São Paulo #1 (eng/esp).
It's been 3 years since my last visit to São Paulo, Brazil, and I still don't stop marveling at this city. With an approximate population of 11,037,593 habitants (2015), São Paulo is the sixth most populous city in the world, surpassed only by Shanghai (China), Mumbai (India), Karachi (Pakistan), Delhi (India) and Istanbul (Turkey).
Han pasado ya 3 años desde mi última visita a São Paulo, Brasil, y aún no dejo de maravillarme con esta ciudad. Con una población aproximada de 11,037,593 (2015) habitantes, São Paulo es la sexta ciudad más poblada del mundo, sólo superada por Shanghai (China), Mumbai (India), Karachi (Pakistán), Delhi (India) y Estambul (Turquía).
I share with you a series of street photographs that I took randomly during my stay, nothing very professional. At the time, I had a Kodak Easy Share c653 digital camera, the photos are not very spectacular, but definitely worth sharing.
Comparto con ustedes una serie de fotografías callejeras que tomé aleatoriamente durante mi estancia, nada muy profesional. En este entonces, tenía una cámara digital Kodak Easy Share c653, las fotos no muy espectaculares, pero definitivamente vale la pena compartirlas.
Justo afuera de la estación de metro de Praça da República (Portugués: Plaza de la República).
It turned out to be a very picturesque and huge city, full of curiosities. Imagine 11 million people living in the same place, 11 million different stories. In total, this city receives around 11.3 million tourists per year; between which I was.
Resultó ser una ciudad muy pintoresca y enorme, llena de curiosidades. Imagina 11 millones de personas conviviendo en un mismo sitio, 11 millones de historias diferentes. En total, esta ciudad recibe alrededor de 11,3 millones de turistas al año; entre las cuales estuve yo.

Found this improvised market in the disctrict of Belém.
Encontré este mercado improvisado en el distrito de Belém.
Wandering by this little improvised makert, I found some japanese culture, far from the japanese neighborhood.
Rondando por este pequeño mercado improvisado, encontré un poco de cultura japonesa, lejos del barrio japonés.
- The city can have the four seasons of the year in a single day, so it's always advisable to go out with a coat and umbrella.
- They like pizza so much that they came to create Pizza Day, it is very easy to find a pizzeria in every corner of the city.
- The "paulistas" love to ask for "uma média con pão na chapa" (coffee with milk and a French style bread with butter) in the bakery in the morning.
- There's a lot of culture moving around in this city.
Durante los días que visité São Paulo, pude darme cuenta de ciertas cosas: - La ciudad puede tener las cuatro estaciones del año en un único día, así que es recomendable siempre salir con abrigo y paraguas. - Les gusta tanto la pizza que llegaron a crear el Día de la Pizza, es muy fácil encontrar una pizzería en cada esquina de la ciudad. - A los “paulistas” les encanta pedir “uma média con pão na chapa” (café con leche y un pan estilo francés con manteca) en la panadería por la mañana. - Hay mucha cultura moviéndose en esta ciudad.
Encontré este mercado improvisado en el distrito de Belém.

The calendar of events and surprises of São Paulo has something special and different for each traveler; plays, street festivals, art exhibitions, sporting events.. In my case I could see some street art, a presentation of contortionism in the front row.
El calendario de eventos y sorpresas de São Paulo tiene algo especial y diferente para cada viajero; obras de teatro, festivales callejeros, exposiciones de arte, eventos deportivos.. En mi caso pude ver algo de arte callejero, una presentación de contorsionismo en primera fila.

I really enjoyed my stay, its streets and people. I really look forward to the opportunity to return again, with a new perspective, a new camera and of course, eager to continue exploring this huge "little world".
Disfruté mucho mi estadía, sus calles y personas, realmente espero con ansias la oportunidad de volver de nuevo, con una nueva perspectiva, una nueva cámara y por supuesto, muchas ganas de seguir conociendo este enorme “pequeño mundo”.

First time I've seen the city side of Sao Paulo. Have seen beaches and the Jesus statue on the mountain many times.
Well, the Christ statue is in Rio, probably the beaches you saw are from there too. Sao Pablo is more like a tiny new york city like! Wait to see the other photos i took, you'll see my point!
I've never been but one of my close friends loves Brazil. Thank you for sharing your pictures and experience over there. It's always great to see different parts of the world.
