Here in Jaffa, there is a warm spring directly by the sea. For the locals this is something very special. Many locals go there every day to wash themselves. Not to purify themselves, but to wash their soul and spirit.

For this spring is holy. Men and women may only bathe separately, for each of them a separate pool has been built. The water is crystal clear and the special thing about it is that many people jump into the water and have fun. It's just like in the West, that there is strict silence. On the contrary. Joy and fun, together with each other, are definitely part of this.

Of course I was also allowed to join in and wash my mind. Friendly I was welcomed by everyone around me. A super experience!

Hier in Jaffa gibt es direkt am Meer, eine warme Quelle. Für die Einheimischen ist dies etwas ganz besonders. Denn dort gehen viele Einheimische täglich sich waschen. Nicht um sich zu säubern, vielmehr um ihre Seele und Geist zu waschen.

Denn diese Quelle ist heilig. Männer und Frauen dürfen nur getrennt baden, für jede ist ein seperates Becken gebaut worden. Das Wasser ist glasklar und das besondere ist, dass viele ins Wasser springen und Spaß haben. Es ist nur wie im Westen, dass dort strenge Ruhe herrscht. Im Gegenteil. Freude und Spaß, das miteinander, gehören hier auf jeden Fall dazu.

Natürlich durfte ich auch mit einsteigen und meinen Geist waschen. Freundliche wurde ich von alle um mich herum empfangen. Ein super Erlebnis!
