My First Day In Brunei!

Hello Steemians!

I landed in Brunei yesterday, but not early enough to get out and explore the capital city of Bandar Seri Begawan.

Today though, I headed out exploring the city all day, and had an interesting first day walking around the city of Bandar Seri Begawan, exploring the mosques and Islamic inspired architecture of this tiny nation.

First impressions, everyone is friendly, there’s no beer but plenty of fried chicken, and Ive got a whole rain forest to explore over the next few days!

I’m visiting Brunei because for one thing I’ve never been here before, and I had the chance to stop over a few days in my travels around Asia, but also because I’ve always been intrigued by this tiny little city state surrounded by jungle on the island of Borneo, not many people ever visit Brunei, but I wanted to see what this place has to offer!
