Yesterday I introduced my snowboarding trip at Whistler and today I'll be taking you up the slopes! If you have missed my first part of the trip, you can find it here.
昨天我介紹一點威士拿滑雪之旅而今日我會帶你們到雪山上面一齊滑雪．如果你沒有看昨天旅程第一集的話，你可以到這裡看.
Every morning, the boys will go up the mountain first and by around 10ish, the girls will then get ready to go up when the boys have finished their first run. Also each morning we will check the notice board to see which runs are opened and plan the day's tracks. Everyone would also have a map of the mountains and tracks so they can plan where to meet.
每一天早上，男子組會先到山上滑雪而大概10點左右，女子組就會預備更男子組回合．每天早上，我們一定會查看當天那條線路開和什麼要注意而這個牌會告訴你。還有，每一個人都會有雪場的地圖方便要集合的時候知道那裡等對方等等。
There is a gondola called Peak 2 Peak which takes everyone from one mountain to the other. While inside the gondola, not only we get a bit of a rest, but we can also enjoy the magnificent views of the mountains, lakes, glaciers and forests in between. There is also some special gondolas which has glass flooring which gives you the ultimate experience (I was a bit scared). The Peak 2 Peak has two Guiness Book records:
- World’s longest unsupported span for a lift of this kind at 3.024km
- World’s highest lift of its kind at 436m above the valley floor.
The gondola provides quick transfer from the Whistler mountain to Blackcomb mountains with a distance of 4.4km in 11 minutes.
這裡有架纜車叫 Peak 2 Peak 這一部纜車是帶滑雪的人從一個山頭到對面座山．纜車裡面不但可以休息一下，也可以慢慢享受很壯麗的風景例如不同的山，湖，冰川，森林等等。這裡還有一些特別的纜車，是纜車地下是用玻璃建造的（其實我有點怕怕的）。Peak 2 Peak 有兩項在健力士世界紀錄.
*最長獨立纜車 （3.024km長）
*從山谷低最高的纜車 (436 米）
從威士拿山頭到 Blackcomb 山頭是4.4km長而用 Peak 2 Peak 整個行程只需要11分鐘
The mountains are so big and wide that other than the chairlift, you won't get to see a lot of people as you go down the slopes.
這裏的雪山特別大特別款所以除咗在空中缆椅看到很多人，其他時間都可以慢慢享受滑雪的過程

The boys who were the early risers, joined the weekend breakfast group which means they all go and have breakfast together with other skiers and boarders and go down the slope on fresh snow. Again the girls decides to get more sleep in.
男子組比較早起身所以他們嘗試參加周末早餐會．這個特別項目是全部人一齊吃早餐然後一齊到山上第一批人滑下來，享受未有人滑過的雪的感覺因為前一天晚上的雪肯定是最好的。女子組沒有參加那麼早的活動
Lastly I'll share some of the great meals we had during our trip - each meal is very important as it replenish our energy for the next run!
