White Birch trees are always magnificent, in my opinion. When they have leaves, there's the stark white with the green branches, somehow life coming from something that looks dead. When the autumn comes, and the leaves turn red, the trees look like they're on fire! And then in the winter when there's no leaves at all, they are hauntingly bare and quiet.

It looks like it was quite the spiritual journey. The next time you go, you'll know the proper way to make your wishes so you don't end up in the water yourself. Or maybe take bigger coins.
