Antarctica is known as a remote region of the earth. The area of ​​this icy plains turns a story.

A global environmental group called Greenpeace travels to the Antarctic region. They are fighting the fate of the ecosystems living in Antarctica.

Greenpeace has submitted a proposal to build the Weedel Sea conservation area covering 1.1 million square miles of sea. In this region live the natural habitat of whales, seals, penguins, and various types of marine fish. This proposal is being considered by the Antarctic Government and will be discussed globally in October 2018.

Antarctic continent is an area located in the South Pole which of course has a very extreme cold temperature. The Antarctic region is under the Antarctic Treaty, where the region is dedicated as a continent for research activities. However, much room for the abuse of Antarctic waters such as rising CO2, ocean acidification and plastics.

This is what prompted Greenpeace to propose major conservation developments in Antarctica. They have conducted research in the Antarctic region and documented the effects of climate change, pollution and fishing on native wildlife. They also took pictures of specimens from the Antarctic sea bed and took samples of seawater. All this they use to raise cases to support conservation area development.

During the trip to Antarctica, the ship was escorted by dozens of dolphins. They seemed to race against the ship, who would get there first. During the four days of life aboard the ship, it passes through the rising waves.

Perhaps the traveler thought, that there is no life in the Antarctic region. That's a very wrong discourse! In the Antarctic Peninsula there is wildlife life, there are penguins, seabirds, seals, and whales that can be seen at all times. This view is worth it.

To survive the cold of Antarctica, you must wear thick clothing and weigh almost 10 Kg. Amazingly, when walking on land and meeting penguin colonies, they will not run or consider human predators. If you keep silent and do not move, they will come closer and will surround.

From the trip to Antarctica, it can be concluded that the Antarctic region is very far from civilization. But there is life to be looked after and experiencing a vulnerable period. They are endangered by wild catching and industrial activities that capture large-scale shrimp. Whereas animals in Antarctica are very dependent, either directly or indirectly to the shrimp as a source of food.
