Franz KafKa Museum / Prague - Franz Kafka Müzesi - Prag ( ENG-TR)

For some of you, Prague might mean night life, alcohol and just a touristic city, but for some people like me, Prague means the home of a great writer in the literature history, Franz Kafka! Franz Kafka was born in 1883 and died in 1924. He spent most of his life in Prague and wrote many great novels under the the effect of this gothic city. Some of his best works are The Metamorphosis, The Trial and The Castle. Kafka was born near the center of Prague and had a lonely childhood, he was mostly left alone so he was quite introvert person. When we look at his works, you can easily feel that. Kafka was never married but had some relations in his life. One of the ladies that he was in contact was Milena and he also wrote one novel called The Letters To Milena! There is a museum about this great guy in Prague, I will let you know about it in this post.

Franz Kafka Museum is the home to many works and belongings of Kafka. This museum tells the story of this great author who was influenced and grown up in the city of Prague. Museum is located on the corner of Vltava river and just under the Castle of Prague. There are original letters, diaries and first edition Kafka books in the museum. I have been to this museum once. When I was in the museum, I can honestly say that I could understand how Kafka felt in his time. There are short videos and special rooms to make you feel just like Kafka. The museum is open from 10 am to 6 pm all week. If you are a lover of Franz Kafka and literature, I totally recommend you to visit the museum!

Franz Kafka Müzesi, Kafka'nın birçok eşyasına ve eserlerine ev sahipliği yapıyor. Bu müze, Prag şehrinde büyüyen ve etkilenen muhteşem yazar Kafka'nın hikayesini anlatıyor. Müze, Vltava nehrinin kenarında ve Prag kalesinin altında konumlanmış durumdadır. Müze'de, Kafka'nın ilk basım eserleri, günlükleri ve orijinal mektupları bulunuyor. Bu müzeye bir defa gittim.
