Travel with Tara : Lake Pawna, End of a Lovely Roadtrip!

in #travel8 years ago

The Pawna or Pavna Lake is an artificial lake brought into existence due to the Pawna Dam. It is about 14km from Lonavala. After our visit to the Lohagad Fort, we decided to visit the 8Pawna Lake8 as it was very close. Also we could see the beautiful lake from the Fort! After driving around for a few minutes on such amazing roads, we could see the lake. We found a nice spot to go closer towards the lake and chill around for a little bit on the hot day.

Although the weather was slightly hot, the water was cool and I couldn't help but dip my feet in it!! The environment was so lovely!

We took a few pictures here and decided to get back on the road since we had a few more spots to cover before nightfall.

Here's a picture of me! Happy under the sun!

We drove for another 30 minutes or so and reached this place called the Lion Point. Such points are amazing to watch the sunsets!

We literally have to stand on a cliff to watch the sunset. I love all sorts of cliffs!

The security guards asked us to vacate the place around 6.30 pm which was a bummer!

Someone fell off the cliff taking a selfie, that's the reason we got to hear from the guards for shutting the place down so early.

It was dark by the time we returned to the parking lot and couldn't visit any other place. It was sad to say goodbye to Lonavala!! It was such a lovely trip! I had a good time with @droidsid! I will definitlely visit again! Waiting for the next adventure!
Thank you for reading!! Peace!
