Unfortunately, the honey hunter tribes are on the verge of extinction. The new generations of the old honey hunters are not taking up this profession and tradition.
My father told me that in Landruk honey hunting is still rather popular, and that they try there to support this tradition and encourage young people to take up this profession.
Young people must be encouraged and supported to take up this tradition if we were to see this tradition continue. Please convey my best wishes to your father. He is doing great deeds.
