• The city surrounded by beautiful nature, with astonishing acrhitecture and crazy lifestyle will leave you brethless, wether you live there or you are just visitor. It's capital of the province Catalonia in Spain (also the largest in it) and an important port on the Mediterranean Sea. It's the city with the long history dating from the age of the Roman Empire, located on the Iberian peninsula (Spain).
• The amazing architecture of Antonio Gaudì will fascinate you. Antonio Gaudì, an acrhitect with his recozgnizable style was the most significant person in construction of the city. His most famous sight (also the most famous in the whole city) is La Sagrada Familia, Basilica of the Holy Family, started building in 1882 and still not completeley finished. La Sagrada Familia

• With 1.620.809 inhabitants and lots of activities to do it will fascinate you in any aspect of your life. Barcelona will be particulary impressive to you if you are fan of the extreme sports. The landscape is prefect for rock climbing. You can hire a mountain bike and explore some of the mountains and natural parks around the city. Go on a bike ride to Montujic Hill. It's a birthplace of Barcelona, a popular tourist destination due to numerous historical sites and museums. You can also come by the car, cable car or you can walk to the hill. If you are flying sports enthusiast you can try sky diving, bungee jumping or paragliding. With 4.5km of golden sandy beaches and the waves of the Mediterranean Sea it's surfer's paradise. There is usually a lot of wind so it's prefect for the windsurfing and kitesurfing.

• There is a place for everyone. If you like shopping take a walk by the Las Ramblas, the most famous street in the city centre (1.4km long). The city is also full of museums, the most visited is the museum of Barcelona's football club (FC Barcelona), the Camp Nou (stadium of the FC Barcelona) is also very popular destination. You will meet a lot of nice people, the city is full of subcultures and it's also weed lovers. Las Ramblas

• Eusebi Guell Park is one place what you surley have to visit. Eusebi Guell was the rich person who funded a lots of Gaudi's ideas. Interesting is that this park is masterpiece of the work of Josep Maria Jujol. The Park supposed to be place for rich people outside city centre, but there was no customer interest. It's unusual place with the snake and dragon sculptures. From the Park you can see a beautiful view of the city. If you are party lovers, there are festivals and parties with all kind of music. One of the most scariest places are abandoned metro stations. The most famous is Gaudi's station near La Sagrada Familia.

• If you have never been to Barcelona I recommended you to visit it, you will not regret it.
