Dragon fruit

Hello everyone! When I was in Vietnam, I first tasted dragon fruit. This fruit is often seen at the hotel for breakfast. Outside it is a raspberry fruit, if you cut it - you will see white pulp with black dots, that look like a poppy. Correctly this fruit is called pitaya. It tastes similar to a banana or kiwi, but in this case, if the fruit is ripe. Then the pulp has a sweet taste. If the fruit is immature - it has almost no taste.

Like all exotic fruits, pitaya contains many vitamins, especially vitamin C, antioxidants, minerals, fruit acids and dietary fibers. The fruit is very beautiful, so it is often used to decorate tables at special events. Because of the soft peel fruit is very easy to crumple, so it is almost not transported to other countries. For this reason, it is difficult to find on store shelves. But if you go to Vietnam - you can always try pitaya and bring it to your loved ones!
