SAVE the RHINO! Gorgeous VIDEO & Pictures of some of the last RHINO’s LEFT on Earth!
In a recent trip to my home country, South Africa, we always make the time to get into the “BUSH” to go visit the wild animals of Africa. It’s just one of those trips you can NEVER get tired of. They are long 6-9 hour days of riding in a tiered level truck where we head out and search to see animals in their natural environment. In Africa we call it a Game Drive, where most other places call it a Safari, and it is one of the BEST ADVENTURES in life!
Our last visit though, was very disappointing. It seems the poaching of Rhino has hit a massive spike of interest amongst the Vietnamese, especially. To the point that if you wish to see a Rhino in a park and want to call and ask if the park has any, they cannot answer. It is now pure luck if you see one of these fading animals that is on the endangered species list. Why? Because the poachers are on a hunt to find any Rhino they can and these parks are doing everything in their power to protect them.
Asia use to use the rhino horns for medicinal purposes, but sadly the Vietnamese are giving horns as gifts and showcasing them as symbol of status.
HOW SAD IS THAT!
These poachers will silently use a tranquilizer to put the rhino to sleep, steal the horn and leave the animal to wake up, suffer and die.
GOOD NEWS…African women have been trained to Poacher Hunt! It is a new and very important position they are feeling honored to have. Why? Cause, once you have been to Africa, everyone discovers a deep feeling of love for any animal in the “Bush!” These women leave their families for weeks at a time, arm up and head out to the bush to protect their beloved animals. It WORKS! And this is really slowing down the Poachers!
Another report has mentioned that Africa will now be breeding Rhino in captivity. They have decided it just isn’t worth loosing all of our Rhinos forever over this and it’s better to have some than none!

Wow massive. I want to see and get close to one Rhino. So how come these Rhinos get to Vietnam? Sad!
They are poached/killed and only the horns are smuggled. Such a waste of a life and yes very sad!
So are they being shipped to Vietnam? Very sad huh.
Just their horns are. While we were out, you can't help be feel that Poachers were watching us too! They are hired within the country by an outsider.
