Finally, I write about my Cancun travel. There were so many things happened after the first Cancun post, such as the drastic drop in Korean coin market. Now, Let's start!! (It is a trip a few years ago.^-^ I've always wanted to arrange the plenty of pictures and memos. I think Steemit is a good chance for me to write down my precious memories.)

In fact, the trip to Cancun was tough from the very beginning.-_-

Flight departure time was 6:30 in the morning on December, 16th.

I and my husband made a wrong decision to stay one night at McCarran International airport in Las Vegas. It was annoying to get up at 3 or 4 a.m. and come to airport. We thought it is a good idea to stay in the departure lounge with little shopping and snacks.

At first, we took pictures in front of the christmas tree like this with excitement of traveling. Yet, as time goes by staying all night at Las Vegas airport was not that joyful.

For the people who can't let go their dreams. There were casino machines everywhere in Las vegas. Dealers walked around and helped the people gambling.

It was my first year in the USA, so I didn't know about the weather of Las Vegas. I heard it is warm even in winter, so just put on thin clothes. However, Las Vegas was quite chilly in December and the air conditioner of the airport fumed out cool air.(Comparing to other places the city could be warm relatively.) Most painful thing was that they didn't start checking in. Every stores inside of the departure gate was closed so early, and we were outside of immigration all night.

Las Vegas airport lounge I visited in the other trip. It is not fancy but provides simple snacks, bar, chair and desks, and shower facilities. We planned staying here at that night but couldn't go inside because of late check-in.

Almost at 6, I passed the departure gate eventually and got on the airplane with so much tiredness but thinking every things gonna be ok now.

But, the night at the airport was just a start of troubles.

With an easy mind, I checked the booking information of us. But.. The date on the paper was strange. The day was December 16th but the checking-in date was 17th.... Yes. I made a reservation from the second day. "There is no hotel for tonight…..!?!!?!!"

I thought 10 nights 11 days trip as 9 nights 10 days trip. I always make this kind of mistakes. Once, I missed a flight from Paris to Korea being confused the departure date.

At last, we got outside with our luggages. It took 40 minutes due to the long line of people and I had to go back to the end of the line missing one blank in the entry paper. :o There were even more troubles. I booked a shuttle from a hotel to airport instead of it from airport to hotel! Everything was so messed up. I almost wanted to cry. I was so tired, rain was strong, and there was no shelter for that night in the most peak time of Cancun.

I was confused if the water ran down on the window was rain or my tear.... ; - ;
