Yak Sa Jeon Hall in Sil San Sa temple

in #travel5 years ago

Yak Sa Jeon was a hall built for serving the Medicine bodhisattva who cares for the patients.
In ancient times, Yak Sa Jeon was very important for people.
It was only place for the patients at that time.

So Yak Sa Jeon looked much better in the shape than Myeon Bu Jeon in Sil Sang Sa.

The patterns of the window looked so colorful, which reminded me of Sang Gyeo Sa temple in Non San city where was made after the destruction in Japanese invasion 1592-1599 A.D.

Those similarity made me think the maker of those window would be the same person.

The tai chi pattern was marked beneath the window like Myeong Bu Jeon.

The iron Buddha statue was located in the hall, which was believed to be made in Shilla dynasty.

The bamboo trees were shivering with the wind.

@slowwalker,
A temple for patients! Wow that's pretty impressive and the patterns of windows and the Bamboo plants give more wonderful feeling to the people who is visiting that place. No doubt, with the one sight of view and patient could feel much better by this temple scenery! Thank you for sharing such wonderful and rare historical scene with us!

Cheers~

I believe people always thought about the health and improving, there were always people who tried to help others with their knowledge of herbs, chemistry and just simple anatomy. I can imagine in the past due to heavy physical jobs many people had injuries needs first aid. Like that building and flowers on window which are fresh and colourful mean life, that is a good sign for the place. it is amazing how the colours still have their intensity. Nice, peaceful place :)

Yak Sa Jeon Hall its look likes similar of the yesterday photo but something different of the pattern design. I think today's design is more pretty and attractive. Love the green garden. Always nice captured. Thank for share @slowwalker

@slowwalker, Glad to hear Yak Sa Jeon Hall built for the patients who cares about Bodhisattva's. Yeah..these windows patterns very colorful and delightful than others. After looked closer like as flowers. Iron Buddha statue pretty amazing creativity. Bamboo trees given some beautiful looks to this background with cool winds.

Have a nice day sir @slowwalker

The bamboo is a good vegetation for producing oxygen. It also very useful for the building. In my village bamboo become parts which can't separate from daily life. In our culinary young bamboo can be use for many cooks.
It also become a building material which can long last time.
Thank you @slowwalker for beautiful photos

This is a beautiful and unique temple for patients. The patterns and designs are different that they don't seem like a house for the sick. But I think the ambiance will help the patients recover faster. Personally, I prefer this type of ambiance than the modern hospitals we have at present.

So Beautiful!! Thank you for the Pictures and informations and a lot för upvoting my Post!! 😊😊
with the pictures I get wanderlust
