One of the interesting thing is looking around a local traditional market place.

The day whe we arrived at CheJoo island, my son and I promised to drop by the traditional market place which was located in the old downtown.

As city have been expanding, the main administration buildings were moved into the new downtown. We made a reservation of guest house near the old downtown, so we could get there on feet easily.

It was dark when we got there.

There were lots of mandarins which was a special product of Chejoo island in the stores.

As walking into the market place, we could look at fishes.

Yes, CheJoo was a island and a port.

It was late when we got there so many stores were closed.

We were looking around slowly and tried to feel some feeling of strangers.
Yes it was not bad walking around strange place.
We were walking lately around the downtown.

In Korea, You can walk around lately, because the security is very good.
If you would like to walk around the downtown lately, Korea is the best option in my experience.

Excellent post. Why didn't you take a selfie?

lol I am not handsome , ugly.

So what, I would like to see you.

I have never been to Jeju-do, and I have been living in Korea for 6 years! I am enjoying this post, because it makes me want to visit. I love the traditional street markets in Korea, they are so interesting.
I agree, it's quite safe to walk around in Korea after dark. Korea has a pretty strong night culture, so there are always people young and old walking about.
The fish look really fresh!
