Tuesday Oceans of the World - The Pacific from a Train
This is my entry for Tuesday Oceans of World (and Antarctica), the daily 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge hosted by @czechglobalhosts. To find out more about how to enter this contest or just to look at the great entries, you can go here.
Two weekends ago, for the first time ever, I took the Amtrak train from Los Angeles to San Diego. I went with a group of 15 friends for a bachelor party celebrating a good friend's last days of being single. Since it was that kind of weekend, none of us really wanted to drive, so the train seemed like the best choice. And it was. The train goes right along the Pacific Ocean at certain points allowing me to get a shot out the window like this.
Bro nice, I so want to do that soon, bet you saw some epic sites you cant see from roads. Excellent, be well bro...

I love train travel, always recommend it!
Nice. How long is the train ride?
It's a 3 hour ride. It's a little longer than if I would drive, but I love the convenience of being on a train instead of being in a car. Definitely a relaxing way to travel.
Nice.
This photo was taken from a train? Like really? The train must literally drive through the beach then :) I have never seen anything like this, very impressive.
Thanks! You didn't see the 20 bad photos I got. ;) There is a brown hue to the photo I did my best to color correct, but it's from the tint of the windows. And yes, there were a few points that were really close to the beach!
Sweet! Really makes me miss the beach! We have a great lake we live on, but sometimes I miss that salt life!
