The Most Beautiful Place in America You've Never Heard Of
There's a part of America you've never heard of, and it's the most beautiful place you've never been to before. Located in Micronesia, Saipan is the capital island of the U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. The island spans 44.55 square miles and has a population of roughly 50,000 people.
The island is part of a U.S. territory, so everyone born there is a U.S. citizen and we are raised with a mix of American culture and the local melange of cultures from all the people who move to Saipan. Many people have described Saipan as a microscopic version of the USA in the Pacific, because it is a melting pot of many different people from many different countries, particularly Asian countries like the Philippines, Japan, Korea, and China.
The beaches on Saipan are pristine treasures that you will always see people hanging out at no matter how early or how late in the day it is.
The flowers and trees we have on Saipan are so vibrant, they almost seem to glow in the sunlight.
The island has a very small country town vibe to it, not really having any cities, just towns and villages.
Most of the people on Saipan consider themselves to be very religious, and follow some form of Christianity.
The food is absolutely mouthwatering, and you're always taking home a ton of it after every fiesta or novena.
Having been the site of the nightmarishly bloody Battle of Saipan in World War 2, Saipan has several memorials and leftover bunkers, tanks, and other remnants from that era.
If you like captivating sunsets, then Saipan is the place for you! You will be treated to some of the most stunning sunsets you've ever seen.

Thank you! I hope you do visit sometime, it truly is PARADISE :) I took some of the pictures, but others were pictures that friends have sent me over the years. I keep all of my CNMI pictures that I've collected from them over the years in a folder with all the pictures I've taken of the islands, so that I have a nice pool of images to choose from whenever I talk about home. :)
