Introduction post. Paid to travel man!

in #travel7 years ago

Hi guys, I am new around here and excited to start posting!

I work for one of the biggest international airlines in the world, and the biggest perk of my job is traveling all around the world! I have to say a lot of the time I only get 24 hours at each destination and that is the reason I called myself "24h AroundTheWorld!".

I plan to point out the best spots to see at destinations all over the world thanks to my experience traveling and knowledge of getting around soundly and safely. The best places to eat always the local cuisines at the best prices, I will share tips and tricks that I have learnt traveling and will be more than happy to answer any questions that you have!

Also I will post trips that I do not at work, where I normally visit areas that are not so touristic and bit more chilled away from tourists!

My latest trip was to the Philippines where I visited Palawan and many of the tiny Islands around it. The Philippines has over 7000 islands, many of these completely inhabited, great to rent a small boat (Or a canoe for the brave!) and have an island for yourself for a day, to enjoy the sun and blue waters!

Island for me and my partner (Had some salty water in my eye excuse me!)

Hope to be able to contribute lots and help as many people as possible!

Welcome to Steemit! Wow your life sounds so exciting :) Looking forward to seeing your content. I also love to travel so feel free to check out my page and maybe give me a follow back if you like the posts. See you around! x

Thanks! I can't complain, but also very tiring sometimes! Will give you a follow now and check out the content!

Are you a flight attendant? This sounds like an exciting life.

Has its pros and cons like everything I suppose. The traveling, free accommodation and expenses paid for are definitely the Pros!

Welcome to steemit. How much time off work do you normally get? Any downsides to traveling so much?

Thank you for the welcome! Normally id say around at least 13 days off a month depending on which routes we fly too. Downside for me is having a hectic life, not being able to sign up for any type of classes as I would miss half of them because of being away all the time!

Welcome, Roberto! You have a creative username, I like that. Being a flight attendant must be so cool to travel around, and it's like a dream to me. Don't hesitate to contact me if you ever come to Kuala Lumpur, I'm in the travel niche too and probably we could create some content together! Cheers.

Hey mate! Thanks for your reply and ill keep your proposition in mind, I actually I go to KL every couple of months, love the street food and general mood! Being a flight attendant has many good sides but also some down. It can make you feel extremely tired if you do not plan your sleep well as we do many long night shifts! Ive sent you a follow!

That sounds tough! Yea, drop me a line when you're here.
