Macao in Pictures Part 3
Taipa and Cotai (Macao)
Taipa and Cotai are where all the giant casino are. As I say in the previous post, they had been build on the sea by filling the sea with sands, rocks, and concrete. It is a very big land that had been added in between the two small islands making it a huge island today. This is where the gambler from all around the world but especially Asia come. The casino there are gigantic and many of them coming right from Las Vegas to build another Casino of their brand. Las Vegas is a long time behind Macao in term of money spend and today Macao is the first gambling place in the world with a size of six times Las Vegas last year, so today I don't know the new statistics but it must be at least 7 or 8 times bigger with all the new casinos made in a year time. It is really a place to visit, the food is good and it is always a pleasure for the eyes.

The Parisian with it's Eiffel Tower half of the size of the real one.
