Obwohl die Stadt nicht so klein ist, kommt man sich durch die individuelle Gestaltung vor, als sei man in einem kleinen Dorf auf dem Land.
Da wir uns extra für die Nebensaison entschieden haben, ist hier vergleichsweise wenig los. Dies hat aber einen immensen Vorteil, es sind kaum Touristen hier. Alles ist ruhig und überschaubar. So etwas in einem Ferienort zu haben ist schon sehr angenehm. Dies merkt man auch an den "Stränden", da dort ausreichend Platz für alle herrscht. Ich sage Strände in Anführungszeichen, da es hier nur an abgesperrten Bereichen Sand gibt. Die meisten Zugänge zum Balaton sind über eine kleine Treppe erreichbar, was aber den Badespaß nicht mindert. Das Wasser hier hat eine grün/türkise Färbung, ist sehr sauber und angenehm warm. Zudem ist im Wasser Sand und man hat keine Probleme darin zu laufen. Es ist sowieso erstaunlich, wie aufgeräumt alles ist. Man sieht kaum Dreck oder Müll in den Städten liegen. Nicht wie in div. Großstädten bei uns zuhause...
Although the city is not so small, you feel like you're in a small village, somewhere in the countryside.
Since we have decided for the low season, here is comparatively little going on. But this has an immense advantage. There are hardly any tourists here, everything is quiet and manageable. To have something like this in a holiday resort is very pleasant. This is also noticeable on the "beaches", because there is enough space for everyone. I say beaches in quotation marks, because there are only locked areas with sand. Most of the access to Lake Balaton are accessible via a small staircase, but this does not diminish the bathing fun. The water here has a green / turquoise tint, is very clean and pleasantly warm, moreover there is sand in the water and you have no problems walking. Anyway, it's amazing how tidy everything is. You can hardly see any dirt or garbage in the cities. Not as in various large cities in our home ...
Die Stadt / The Town
In Lelle, wie wir die Stadt so schön abkürzen, gibt es überall kleine Läden und Geschäfte. In Fast jeder Straße konnten wir sie entdecken und es werden hauptsächlich Obst und Getränke angeboten. Natürlich fehlen auch die üblichen Fastfoodbuden nicht. Hamburger und Döner sind sehr beliebt :P
Die großen Läden wie Spar, DM und Mediamarkt kann man auch im Umkreis finden, speziell Richtung Budapest wird man hier fündig. Man muss also keine Angst haben, dass einem die Sonnencreme aus geht :D
Die Menschen hier haben irgendwie alle so eine Ruhe weg, es geht alles langsamer als im hektischen Deutschland. So merkt man es auch, wenn sie uns nicht verstehen und wir versuchen uns mit Händen, Füßen und Google Übersetzer zu verständigen, was manchmal schon sehr lustig war. Aber lasst euch nicht verunsichern, hier sprechen viele Englisch und auch Deutsch. Es ist also mehr die Ausnahme, dass man nicht verstanden wird.
In Lelle, as we shorten the city so nicely, there are everywhere small shops. In almost every street we could discover them and it was mainly fruits and drinks offered. Of course, the usual fast food outlets are also here. Hamburger and kebab are very popular: P
The big stores like Spar, DM, Mediamarkt can be found in the area, especially in the direction of Budapest you will find them. So you do not have to worry about ran out of suncream :D
The people here have somehow all such a calm away, everything is slower than in hectic Germany. That's how you feel when you do not understand us and we try to communicate with our hands, feet, and google translators, which was sometimes very funny. But do not be confused, a lot of them speak English and German. So it is more the exception that one is not understood.

Das Nachtleben / The Nightlife
Da wir ja hier Nebensaison haben, sind viele Discos nicht geöffnet. Trotzdem ist auch abends etwas los und man kann sich in eine der vielen Bars niederlassen. Hier läuft erstaunlicherweise viel Hous und Discomusik. Auch am Tag. Was mir persönlich natürlich sehr gefällt :)
Man kann bis ca 2 Uhr in den Bars Trinken und auch Essen. Erstaunt war ich über den selbst gemachten Hamburger, der nicht mit Fertigfleisch zubereitet wurde. Sehr lecker kann ich nur sagen.
Since we have low season here, many discos are not open. Nevertheless, in the evening something is going on and you can settle down in one of the many bars. Amazingly, a lot of hous and disco music are playing here. Also during the day. What I personally like a lot, of course :)
You can drink until about 2 o'clock in the bars and eat food. I was amazed at the home-made hamburger, which was not prepared with bought meat. I can only say it was delicious.
Dies soll der Abschluss von Tag 1 und 2 sein. An Tag 3 waren wir auf der Burg Sümeg. Dies wird evtl morgen folgen, da ich die Bilder erst fertig machen muss. Euch einen schönen Tag und viel spaß beim anschauen meiner Bilder.

Im glad you like it. We are not in a hotel. We have a apartment with 4 other familes in a house. I didnt traveled the last years but i want to in future. My work takes me to different towns in germany but i dont have the time to go on sightseeing. But yes i want to bring more such content to steemit and i definitely take my camera more often with me.
At the moment im working at the next part of this holliday and im trying to bring it online today

Toller Bericht! Ich finde solche individuellen immer Unterkünfte wie Ferienwohnungen schöner als einen All-inclusive Urlaub. Man lernt mehr kennen und ist nicht die ganze Zeit nur im Hotel :) Der Ort sieht sehr schön aus!
Ja es ist was anders als ein Hotel, trotzdem haben wir 2 deutsch Familien mit in dem Haus. Es wurde auch schon nach einem Ladegerät gefragt :P Ungarn ist halt das Urlaubs- und Auswanderungsland der Deutschen.
Hier gibt es viele Großeltern die aus Deutschland stammen. Die Besitzerin des Weinshops, wo nur das Regal rechts an der Wand steht, war in den 90er Jahren in Deutschland bei Hof. Dort haben sie viele Freunde.
Wow, schöne Fotos, ich liebe die Gegend in Ungarn und Budapest ist einer meiner liebsten Städte, die ich bisher besucht habe. Leider habe ich damals noch keine Kamera bei mir gehabt ;)
Danke für das Kompliment. Wir waren gestern in Budapest, aber nur auf der Citadelle. Das hat uns ein wenig enttäuscht, da wir dachten, man könnte hinein. Zu wenig informiert im vorhinein, aber auch davon gibt es Fotos die ich veröffentliche.

The buildings are really nice, all with there own different twist and looks. I love how most of the buildings are surrounded by beautiful green plants and trees. I especially love the view of that small building that is literally covered with runny plants.

Sehr genialer Bericht! Klasse Bilder ! Finde es auch gut, dass du es zweisprachig gemacht hast. Versuche ich nach Möglichkeit auch immer :-)
Sieht aber auf jeden Fall nach nem gelungenem und gemischtem Urlaub aus :-) ein bisschen Geschichte und sightseeing , auch Strand und abends kann man auch was erleben.
