Stunning Views from N Seoul Tower Observatory Deck - Seoul at Night Travel Blog

My dear Seoulmates (pun intended)! Today I literally climbed up 1.6 kilometers of stairs at minus 10 degrees Celsius to get to the observatory deck of the Seoul. Wrapped up in 4 layers of clothing, I arrived at the ticket office of the N Seoul Tower, just to find out that I also could have taken the cable car! I guess sometimes it’s not the worst idea to read the tourist guide first. Well, at least I was a bit warmer (and a lot sweatier) for a short while in the freezing cold Korean winter. 😅 Anyway, it was totally worth it! But see for yourself:

The N Seoul Tower is a publicly accessible radio & television tower. Residing on top of the Namsan hill at about 240 meters height that was constructed in 1969. It is a landmark in the Skyline of Seoul. The Observatory Deck is also publicly accessible via an elevator. Admittance costs 10.000 WON (about 10 USD) per adult. The tower is also a very kitschy Korean-style plaza with games areas, restaurants, foto playground and other stuff. I decided to just go for the observatory deck. I spent about an hour there admiring the shrill and colorful skyline of this sprawling Asian metropolis. But on my way down, I took the cable car 😁
