HALDIHOF 2 LAKE LUCERNE (Switzerland) - HALDIHOF 2 - VIERWALDSTÄTTERSEE (CH)
Dear Steemians,
Today I will introduce you to another part of the wonderful Haldihof in Weggis (Ch), namely the rustic farm shop.
The small farm shop, is typically furnished in the old distillery. Here you will find, besides the ancient apparatus, all the self-made goods: Alpaca and lama wool, honey, schnapps, gin, etc. There are also products from other local and regional farmers and organic producers. The range goes from coffee over knitwear to bio-cola, which is, by the way, less sweet, but much more delicious than the original.
The products can be bought and the money placed in the designated checkout. This trade on tweaking works flawlessly, as we were told and hardly anything is stolen. The goods (there is even a coffee machine and always self-baked cake) can also be enjoyed on the cozy terrace with a view of the lake.

Heute werde ich euch einen weiteren Teil des wundervollen Haldihof in Weggis (Ch), vorstellen, nämlich den urigen Hofladen.
Der kleine Hofladen, ist idealerweise in der alten Brennerei eingerichtet. Hier findet man nebst den antiken Apparaturen alle selbst hergestellten Waren: Als da wären: Alpaka- und Lamawolle, Honig, Schnaps, Gin usw. Weiter gibt es noch Produkte von anderen lokalen und regionalen Bauern und Bio-Produzenten. Hier reicht die Palette von Kaffee über Strickwaren bis zur Bio-Cola, welche übrigens weniger süß, dafür aber viel leckerer als das Original ist. Die Produkte kann man kaufen und das Geld in die vorgesehene Kasse legen. Dieser Handel auf Vertauen funktioniert einwandfrei, wie man uns sagte und es wird kaum etwas gestohlen. Die Waren (es gibt sogar eine Kaffeemaschine und immer selbstgebackenen Kuchen) kann man auch vor Ort auf der gemütlichen Terrasse mit Seeblick genießen. Der Haldihof hat mir sehr gut gefallen. On the way to the Blue Mountains (west of Sydney) some of the orchardists sell their apples on un-maned roadside stalls with just a small money jar.

Yesterday, hiking with my daughter in the mountains, I found another little shop woth drinks, ice-cream, coffee and snacks. They had the same system and gave even the opportunity to pay later by bank deposit, if they have not the correct amount ready.

Truly would be a different world if we could all live like this all the time. Yesterday at our farmers' market one of the store holders let me to take some of the herbs I wanted to buy, trusting that I would deposit the payment into her bank. Not quite the same though as we already know each other a little. 🦋✽🦋

I was indeed a magic place, even for Switzerland. The owner told us, if the shop were along a main atreet, she would not dare to do this, but the Haldihof, only the ones who know it and wanderers find it. :)
Oh how I love the farm shops. So many great memories from my past. There is like everything and even more.
