Hiking in Ranyon Canyon Los Angeles
Hiking is one of my favorite things to do when I travel to a new place. It's soothing when you get to the top of the hill and just sit there and observe sky and the surroundings.
My partner and I went to Ranyon Canyon and see a bunch of health freaks in the area. Since it's close to Hollywood, we saw a lot of models and tv personalities with hot bodies. I must admit, it got me motivated to hike more and sweat it out! :-)
All these fitness freaks are pumping me to achieve my fitness goals. Girls with crop top and leggings, I can't help it but turn my head and be amazed on how they turn up like that. Some guys walk their dogs shirtless! I'm like, "Oh mer gerd!!! They're so freakin' hot! I can't focus! Even their dogs have muscles!"
It was unbelievable! I feel like I was in paradise full of good looking people with sexy bodies. Too bad I wasn't able to take stolen pics coz that would be creepy aight?! I just savored the moment and breathe. Breathe Thea... Breathe...
There are also huge mansions that are close by to the park, they have rooftop swimming pool, basketball court with a nice view, jacuzzi and luxury cars. These people have everything! I wonder what they do for a living? Probably they're in the film industry since this is LA? Porn maybe? Lol!
As I reached the top of the hill, I can't help it but wonder... What am I doing with my life? What kind of charity should I do to contribute to the society I live in? What is the point of life? Why am I here? Do I want to be here? All these questions instantly popped in my head.
Crazy way thinking but I like it. It makes me raw. Genuine conversation with my head. All the neutrons and electrons are working hand in hand, giving me enough reasons to live more and achieve more in life!
Hiking makes me reflect on things that I don't normaly do... Sometimes I would meditate when I reached the top of the mountains. Smell the trees, the grass, the soil. Feel the breeze on my cheeks and let the wind blow my hair. Listen to my heartbeat as the blood races through my veins. I love this feeling, it makes me feel ALIVE, be one with the NATURE. This is refreshing! It makes me happy. :-)

nice post @pinaynomad ! to answer the question " Where is your happy place? I guess my answer would be where ever I find myself as Happiness for me is to be found in your heart and not a place especially !!
Some people find it in their home. But some people find it in a person. :-)

Napan ak jay Vigan twice, kayat ko jay bagnet and empanada nga addo iti shredded papaya or cabage. Naimas manang! :-)

but when we walk never think of other things sincerely only travel but why until the goal even many of these feelings speak so that the power of thinking along the way it is something is reading yourself from what is seen so that we have the potential that although developed do not dwell nah circumstances now so much more than now and do not forget to share each other

I am tall! 5'6" man! :-)
Seems like lately my happy place is in my car, windows open nice cool breeze and a beautiful view. Maybe a nice tree to park under and do some reading or writing now that I'm with steemit. :)
Cool! I like driving too when I'm in the States. It's not nice to drive here in Manila coz of pollution and traffic.

About a three hour drive. Though I like upstate New York better. lol That's like five hours away in the opposite direction.
3 hours is close! I will be in Long Island, NYC on January to visit my cousin.

Aww long island in January. To bad it wasn't during the summer. I remember when I was in high school talking the ferry there. To watch a concert that got rained out lol

Well I think long island would be beautiful during the summer. You're first winter experience. Very cool. Well I hope it snows that day. Just remind me if it does cause I'll probably be delivering in it. Hopefully you can make a snow angel. There's nothing better then making a snow angel on a patch of snow no one has touched. I hope it turns out wonderful.
I'm sure it will snow big time on January! Thanks for the advice about the snow angel. I would definitely look for a patch of snow that nobody has touched. Even if it would mean that I have to go to a forrest, I would do it!
Then after I find a spot, I would sing Frozen's soundtrack, "Let it go, let it go. Can't hold it back anymore!" Then I would pee right there coz cold weather makes me pee a lot. 😊
