7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #37 - Tungabhadra Dam
Hello friends!
This is my entry for the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #37 photocontest from @czechglobalhosts.
This shot was captured at location : Tungabhadra Dam which is constructed across river tungabhadra at dusk time.
Tungabhadra Dam is the largest dam in Karnataka (India) and is situated 5 km away from Hospet town. This multi-purpose reservoir was built by Dr. Thirumalai Iyengar, an engineer from Chennai.
There are other tourist attraction places around this place. One of them is Hampi - which is a historical place and with many ruined temples from the Vijayanagara Empire.
