People of Myanmar - 2

Welcome to part 2 of my "People of Myanmar" - series. Today I want to share my pictures of the fishers of Inle Lake. The lake is one of the mos visited places in the country, but has still kept its pristine magical atmosphere.

While we crossed it in a little boat, the fishers did not seem to notice us, they seemed to willingly ignore any outside influence. Their ancient technique - they stand on their tiny boats with one foot and paddle with wooden sticks attached to their other one - has stayed the same for centuries. Inle Lake is just a fascinating place and definitely a must see when visiting Myanmar.
