Source: Christopher Johnson McCandless was an American hiker and itinerant traveler, who also went by the name "Alexander Supertramp. He passed away in 1992 at the age of 24 while living alone in Alaska.

I've read a POST this week where my friend @guchtere talked about his unexpected encounter with a Dolphin and how that affected his day.

He continues his thoughts explaining the elements of surprise and how important they are for our life; both in a positive and negative way. I found it really interesting and it shows how related it is to the travelling life.

I believe that adventure is all about surprising moments, we are constantly discovering new things and sensations, which brings us back to our baby years, when everything was new and interesting. For some reason, when we turn into adults that slowly fades away if we stand still in our couch.

That explains why travelling is so addicting, because our living spirit is indeed looking for new experiences at any time to flood our brain with reactions that lead to happiness. Some may find this flood eating a deserved piece of chocolate; others find it exploring new places.
