My visitation to National biological garden in Ile-Efe, Osun State Nigeria
Hello steemians, i have been living an amazing life since i joined this great community. meeting steemians from different location wouldn't have been possible if not for this platform
Recently, i and other steemians in Nigeria visited Biological garden of Obafemi Awolowo University (O.A.U) imediately after Steemit In Nigeria meentup workshop
We came here powered by @gbenga boss who selflessly decided to take us around the school
This biological garden is being established by the school botny department and according to OAU Ife Blog, The Department of Botany is one of the oldest departments of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (then University of Ife ), being one of the foundation departments the University started with in 1962.
@gbenga took his time to carefully explain each and every animals, name and how they are been taking care of
For example we asked by the hyena acted slow and why it wasn't in a cage
He said that the hyena was injected with some drugs that's why she couldn't attack us
Indeed it was an amazing outing. it was the first time coming close to snake, lion and other wild animals
Thanks to @gbenga for this outing and other steemians who came along with us.
