My exchange #6 - A visit to Seal Beach and yoga by the beach
Yesterday I visited Seal Beach, a really popular and beautiful beach close to Long Beach, California, where I have lived for a week today. Seal Beach has really nice and soft sand, quite big waves and a impressive pier that is over 500 meters long!
There are many beautiful houses and small shops and restaurants in Seal Beach. It is a really cute area, and even though it is a bit touristy it is definitely worth a visit.
There was a concert just by the beach and we went to check it out for a while before driving home just before the sun set.
Apart from visiting Seal Beach I also went to practice yoga by the beach. Long Beach has free yoga two times a day in a place called Bluff Park that is situated right by the ocean. It is such a luxury to be able to go to yoga outside by the ocean for free, and I will definitely try to go there as often as I can.
Is that not the most wonderful view?
Tomorrow there will be a pool party at the university for all the exchange students so I am looking forward to that! And next week the classes will start! I am really excited but also a bit nervous.
nice place and nice photos i hope you enjoy your yoga at this stunning place
Thank you! I did enjoy yoga and I will try to go again as much as possible :)

Ohh... That Yoga practice with view for ocean is so lovely! And the city also is beautiful. It looks like constantly is a vacation in Long Beach :)
Yes it is a lovely place for yoga! :) And it feels quite much like being on vacation, at least now still when my classes have not started yet.
What is your favorite beach you've ever been to? I found your post under the travel tag under new, here is the post I made there.
