Why the Facebook Data-Protection Hype?? Offical Davos Paper: The Known Traveller

Have you been wondering why they make such a loud cry out of something that we knew all along, that Facebook sells your data? Why now? What is behind this?

They want to centralize all the data in the hands of the user, so that you are able to give your authorization to all the data Google, Youtube and Facebook have about you to anyone.

You will have the power to do so!

So if someone asks you politely if he can get your data, you will be able to give him all your data with a press of a button. If you choose not to give him your data he can get suspicious... Today there is no way that you can give someone this power... so nobody asks for it.

The company which holds all of your data will have screening methods analyzing your data... and evaluate if you are a threat or not, if you are a lefty, which videos you liked or disliked.

The future for Travellers as promoted by Davos (World Economic Forum)

When you get into a country you will be able to choose a line where you can give access to your social media data and get risk scored automatically and can enter seamlessly if approved by the screening company.

Or you can get to the other line of people who are not willing to give this authorization and give an explanation regarding what you have to hide.

Isn't it wonderful? Later on the second line will disappear. And in the end every employer before hiring you might ask for your authorization to screen your data. Or very insurance company or bank...

The World Economic Forum acknowledges and is inspired by the leadership of our partners whose commitment to this project shows that this future is possible. In particular, we wish to thank Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport of Canada, and the entire team from the Government of Canada for having contributed to ensuring the research and prototype development has been grounded in pragmatic public-sector experience. Together, the World Economic Forum and Accenture, collaborating on Shaping the Future of Security in Travel, hope that this report and the prototype will gain momentum, encouraging public and private parties to pilot and scale this concept in the coming year.

This is really interesting stuff! Have you always behaved correctly? Have you always been a good citizen and hated Russia as you are supposed to?

Will you be able to travel anywhere when this will be implemented? Lauren Southern has a lifetime travel ban for the UK, as well as others who can not travel to the UK anymore...

I think it is time to create a new Google account and like Mainstream-Opinions on Youtube... at least one hour a week. So that you still will be able to travel in the future.

Sort:

Haha. That’s helariius !

Why? Do you think they will not do this?
I already saw a field to give facebook account on ESTA-forms I believe.
