Bahia de Pampatar, is one of the most valued locations on the island of Margarita Venezuela, not only because it is one of the oldest, but because of its historical value. In his adjacencies two works of great historical value are imposed that date from the Spanish colonial time; the impressive Castillo de San Carlos Borromeo, also known as Castillo de Pampatar and the famous Fortín de la Caranta.
