My Balkans travel: Dubrovnik #3 - A beautiful island to swim and live: Otok Lopud

In Dubrovnik, there are many island to visit for different purposes. As i indicated in this post, Lokrum is an island for nature(there is not residency there). Of course, there are some islands to live and swim. One of my favorite and i visited is Lopud island.

You can get there by Port Gruž section is that a part of "new city" port. It is just located to main bus station. You can see details of port and island transportation location and its line.

Unlike Lokrum schedule, you should be care because there are only a few boats during day. There are 2 boats in morning and 2 in evening time. The boat goes to 3 island, the second is Lopud. It takes around 40 minutes.

You can swim at many places of island. If you don't want to loose time and not walking, you can swim at port side.

What a stunning/impressive beauty...

But, my suggestion is go to other side of the island. There is a sandy beach there:

it takes around 25-30 mins by walking. But, it worth to that.
