Hello @slowwalker, Absolutely brilliant location for visit and study more about Korean cultures from The Museum in Tongdo-sa Temple. There are so many amazing & unique designs indeed stone statues. Stairs also seemed stronger looks.
Stone Haetae is unbelievable and looks mysterious animal statue. I never seen before like these stone design.

Originally this animal meant the law and the Justice in China, but in Korea people believed that those Haetae statue would prevent the fire accident.

There are some different meaning believed both cultures. You tried lot for showing us, relics inside museum. Unfortunately not permitted. It's ok . Thanks for your priceless effort.
