China Trip Part 5: Xi'an (Terracotta Soldiers and the Xi'an Wall!)
After landing in Xi’an, we drove to the Xi’an Wall to go on a 2-hour bike ride. It was not only an amazing experience, but also a pretty good workout!
There was a hilarious sign on the wall that was translated into English, but made no sense! I like to call it "the old man ban" sign.
Then we went to a glorious theater where we saw a beautiful dance performance telling the story of the Tang Dynasty Empress.
We had the opportunity to visit the incredible Terracotta soldiers! These soldiers were built in the third century BCE, and each one has a unique face. Over 8,000 were found, and they were built to protect the emperor of the Qin Dynasty in the afterlife.
Finally we visited a water fountain show in the city.
China is an exciting place to be . I love the views and these ancient designs of the building. I'm really marvelled by the charges on the bicycle and twin bicycles. My first time of hearing it though. Thanks @alval115
Yes, the traditional aspects of Chinese architecture came to life on the Xi'an wall!
Wow over 8000 built! that is very, very cool. i bet it looks even better in person:)
I know, it's so incredible in person it's hard to believe how old it is!
