Discover Bangladesh #2: The Island of Tranquility, Monpura

Hello steemit community, I am again going to share with you another episode of Discover Bangladesh. Today I will present a traveling story about the Island of Tranquility, Monpura island.

A river isle which is situated in the south of Bangladesh. The total space of the island is 373.19 square km and it has inhabitants of about 50,000. This area is completely off beat pathway for the tourists then full of loveliness. If you need to realize natural beauty you might come here.
Monpura, a finest and beautiful isle is situated in Bhola district in Bangladesh. It’s has a historic past. Portuguese buccaneers used to take housing in the Monpura Island before 600 years before. Persons from Bhola, Laxmipur, and Noakhali on track living the island after Portuguese’s left-hand.

How to go:

You can use a ferryboat to Hatia from Dhaka Riverstation. The ferryboat underway from 5.30 am and it gets hold of Monpura at 7 am next day. Rent is 200 tk to 1600 taka.

Where to Stay:

There are many places to stay in the district.There have a government circuit house in Bhola Sadar and have many hotels and Guest House. You stay comfortable.

Eating Facilities:

For eating you have to depend on some local foods hotel. You can get some extraordinary local foods from there.
