We Beat the Storm to Mt. Whitney | Trona Pinnacles
Go with Louiantor59 on a trip into the Sierra Nevada mountains. To us, this was the most epic trip of the year. We got to drive into the edge of the November Bombogenesis which swept the complete western edge of California and messing up traffic for Thanksgiving week.
Bombogenesis a popular term used by meteorologists, occurs when a midlatitude cyclone rapidly intensifies, dropping at least 24 millibars over 24 hours. We went to experience it in the Searles Valley and the Trona Pinnacles.

This is a really interesting video @louinator59! I can't say I am supportive of missiles and weapons of mass destruction in general but they are sure fascinating, and seeing the launch footage was really something. That alien landscape you guys drove through as well! geez, what planet indeed! Fun overlay of the Star Trek footage LOL. Great video!
