Late last year, I met some new awesome friends who are also online teachers. My friend Ivy is their colleague and she was the reason why I got into their group. They were very active in online marketing/investment that time, now I feel that they are inactive to any online investments, and since I was also very interested in such so I joined in their group. They created a group chat on Skype which we often exchange messages. At first, I was not that active and just kept on reading their talks since I was the only one who was from a different company. I would reply to their messages sometimes, especially when my name was mentioned.

As some months passed, I got closer to them. I would reply to their funny and silly conversations. We felt like really close friends.

During one of the conversations, @jho0129 suddenly suggested to meet up to know each other better. Excitement rushed through me at first but when I realized that it's December and there would be a lot of occasions in that month, I hesitated but still declined their invitation at last. But I also considered coming since I was pumped to see them in person and it would be my first visit to Cagayan de Oro.

When I received my payslip, I was very happy and I immediately informed them that I would be coming to the meetup. They were very happy as well and we finalized the activities that we would be doing there.

December 9 had arrived. I was supposed to be ready with my things, finished taking a bath and waited for the bus at the highway at 5 AM to get to Cagayan at 2 PM or 3 PM, it's an 8-hour drive by bus, but due to my laziness, I woke up late. My brother decided to come with me so we waited for a bus and we're able to get on one at 9 AM. It was a very tiring trip because we had to ride a non-airconditioned bus. I can't handle an airconditioned bus because of my carsickness.

Suffice it to say, we arrived in Cagayan de Oro at almost 7 PM. My brother and I immediately hailed a taxi and asked to go to Ayala. Good thing the driver was quite fast so he made it a very short trip. I saw Ivy and her kid inside McDonald's and the two other friends @jho0129 and @Chrisvee. We hugged and talked for a bit and then decided to find a place to have our supper. We were supposed to eat at Yakimix Sushi Smokeless Grill All-You-Can-Eat-Restaurant. It is a restaurant that served different foods from all around the globe. However, our reservation was overdue so we had to find another restaurant. Maybe I will try it when I get back to Cagayan de Oro.

Ivy recommended Kogi-Q in Limketkai Center. She had tried it before with her brother and she said it was good. It is also a buffet All-You-Can-Eat-Restaurant. In comparison to Yakimix, this restaurant is more on grilling the food by yourself. A Korean style of restaurant. I loved the place because I am a Korean food fanatic. They had a variety of tray of seafood such as clams, shrimps, fish, and squid. There were selections of meat like chicken and pork, even marinated chicken and pork. I heard they had got beef, too but I didn't see any and I didn't bother to ask the server. There were also hot dogs, sausages and more that kids would totally love. I loved the hot dogs. Haha! I think customers would definitely enjoy the choices in that restaurant. We paid 370 PHP () per head, which I think inexpensive for that amount of food that we had on our plates. Unfortunately, their only available drink that was inclusive for the buffet price was iced tea so we didn't have a choice since possibly soft drinks would be steep. The only downside was the soybean soup which was an off. But, I totally enjoyed the food and was very full. I don't normally eat a lot but that was an exemption! Burp! LOL

After our meal, we headed to Ivy's place since we planned to stay there for that short trip. We met Ivy's mother and her two kids. We planned to watch a movie but since everyone was tired so we decided to just wash up and went to sleep for we had to wake up early the next day.
