Masouleh village

In my opinion this photo show us that dreams come true.
Here is masouleh/masuleh
( the Town in north of iran, Fuman County, Gilan Province)

Masuleh is one of the most beautiful villages in north of Iran. this village perched high on a densely forested mountainside from the Caspian Sea. Forever covered in fog.
The mist around the village in the evening is so beautiful and magical.

Masouleh is an ancient rural location with amazing architecture on the side of mountain.
Masouleh is an incredible village.
Masouleh houses are constructed in stepped terraces which is series of cottages built on a slope, such that each house's courtyard is another house's rooftop.
In some cases, public streets are laid out along interconnected roofs.

Masouleh does not permit any motor vehicles to enter the small streets and many stairs make it impossible for vehicles to operate in the village.

In the day time you can climb to the small mountain.nearby There's a nice waterfall down the village.

These old houses are mostly made out of clay and wood.they are mostly exposed to the wear and tear of the weather; such as rain and snow.
It is amazing that the roofs can also use as walkways.

you can find a lot of adventure and local foods there.

To reach Masouleh, first go to the city of Fouman. If you do not have a private car you can take a taxi from Rasht or Fouman to go to Masouleh. If you have a plan to go there with your private car you do not need to go to Rasht, before reaching the city of Rasht, you can move toward Fouman.
