Awesome post, thanks @heyitshaas! That's exactly what we do to be able to travel much more than others! Traveling is not just see the top attractions and pay a lot of money for that to possibly get scammed too, but to feel the atmosphere of a place and its people and this you can do for free! And true, keeping your monthly spendings at a low rate, gives you more money to travel!
Thanks! travelled and worked at the same time and was able to learn more of the world for four yeas, now back in Amsterdam and saving again. preparing for my next move, dont know what yet.
Also worked on Cruise ships.

Hi @anna-redhead, yes we did a lot of couchsurfing. It's indeed a great way to meet new people and also a good method to save money, but the main reason for couchsurfing should be meeting locals, rather then saving money...;-)
