Waiting to depart Grand Bahamas Island

I am on a short sabbatical after a heavy business season. Which is becoming clearer to me that as my business includes heavy travel, that I should skip the travel for a break.

The main reason

The foolish travel ”Security Measures”, redundant checks that can be long, aggravating and ineffective. We have all had to waste a lot of time, endure stress from imbeciles that man the security positions, comply with tedious, redundant and numerous governmental checks designed to coral, identify and subjugate humans into mindless sheep.

Don’t get me wrong

Some travel to new places to experience a natural wonder or monument to mankind’s ingenuity is wonderful and worth all of the above stresses.

However to achieve an unwind or decompression, I will no longer try to accomplish it with added travel. A quick “in country” excursion to a remote location with desired amenities would suit the need much more.

It’s funny

Humans naturally seek efficiency and peace. Yet for the sake of a holiday, we increase our complexity and efforts.

We are curious beings indeed
