The Old Dog: Gets Pretty High!
Yes, I did! One of the cool things about travelling in Switzerland and other countries is that when you rent a room they often give you a free travel card. With it you can have "free" use of any transport in the area. With today's destination that included the ski lift!

Let Me Show Where We Stayed Last Night
We headed up to the little alpine village of Bellwald which lies at 1,600 m (5,200 ft) and is the highest village in Goms, or the upper Rhône River valley. It was first mentioned in 1374 as Zblattun.
Here you can see the church which was right next to our hotel. If you're not used to hearing church bells clanging out the time on the half hour and the full hour make sure that you have ear plugs or find another room! Yes they're quaint but NOISY! None of us slept much last night! Oh well we had an adventurous day anyway!
These two men were walking their cows home last night and we loved the bells on these cows. It was so cool to watch them go by as we had our dinner last night.
We were in the open style chair lift which made it really fun and exciting!
Since the ski lift was free and it ended up be a nice morning we decided to head up the mountain. I'm not a skier and so this was a unique experience for me. We loved it!
The view from the top was fabulous and all too soon it was time to head off for our next destination!

Never had such experience in this life time so far! So this is great, atleast we can see the wonders of these beautiful landscapes! And also I wish STEEM might let us a chance to do such great travels! It's amazing, truly wonderful! No matter how noisy that bell, I won't sleep when these wonders are around!

Hey that's cool! I'm actually in Switzerland as well, in the Lake Lucerne area. We are hiking the mountains nearly every day. It's just amazing.

Dear friend, take that chairlift, it had to be the most fun experience of your trip, I would climb in one, and I share your opinion, the view of that mountain is really incredible, I would like to be there with all of you and enjoy that point of view , but I know that you and your family are having a great time, I will try not to lose any of those places you show us, dear friend.
