RE: Prague/Czech Republic - Wednesday photo challenge - share your personal pictures from your visit to the Czech Republic!
Palace Archa, previously Legiobanka, Na Poříčí, Praha
At the beginning of the existence of the Czechoslovak Republic (from 1918), a kind of national architectural style was sought. For a while it became rondocubism.
The whole world of cubism worshiped the edges. The Czechs had arcs. It only took a moment. In this style, only a few buildings were built.
The building and decoration of this building was ordered from the best Czechoslovak artists.
