Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @nenio:

This photo complements my previous entry in this contest. It is other sculpture of the Czech artist: David Černý. Many of his works are quite controversial. The pond where the figures stands has shape of the boundary of the Czech Republic. This sculpture is located at the entrance of the Kafka Museum, in Prague.

I rewarded @nenio entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Close-up of decorative collumns of the Colonnade in the center of Karlovy Vary - a spa town situated in western Bohemia, Czech Republic, on the confluence of the rivers Ohře and Teplá, approximately 130 km (81 mi) west of Prague. It is named after Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia, who founded the city in 1370.

Side side of the Vitkov Monument - a national monument dominated by a giant statue of Jan Zizka, a legendary Czech warrior and military leader. The monument is located on the top of the Vitkov Hill, overlooking the Prague neighborhoods of Zizkov and Karlin.

Ehm... Fakt to není sv.Václav na Václaváku? Focený je to zajímavě. Třeba mě to takhle nenapadlo.

At the beginning of the existence of the Czechoslovak Republic (from 1918), a kind of national architectural style was sought. For a while it became rondocubism.
The whole world of cubism worshiped the edges. The Czechs had arcs. It only took a moment. In this style, only a few buildings were built.
The building and decoration of this building was ordered from the best Czechoslovak artists.

Hi Tomas and Steemians
The photo was taken during Christmass festivals on Freedom square (náměstí Svobody) in the centre of Brno. There can be also seen part of this year attraction - big Russian wheel placed on Moravia sqaure (Moravské náměstí).

The sculpture of the Kafka Museum is incredible. I am motivated to investigate in Google about this sculpture. It is a source of water, very interesting. Thanks Tomas, Thanks @nenio. Knowing a little more about Prague. Happy day.
