The Temple of Kom Ombo is a temple located in Aswan, Egypt.
The building is unique because it was design for two sets of gods as the courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms are all duplicated.
The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world with Hathor and Khonsu.
The northern part of the temple was dedicated to the falcon god Haroeris.
Here, we can admire the center court of the northern part.
It never stops fascinating me what things were built without any technical advancements and tools. Thank you so much for your entry. Tomas
