Mount Etna is an active volcano of Sicily. The most dramatic eruption has made Sicily particularly rich and fertile. Volcanic ash and lava fill the soil with nutrients such as magnesium, calcium, sodium, iron and potassium. That is why the wines from the Ethnas are unique.

Exactly here, where no one would expect to find anything. On this little balcony with a view of the neglected districts of Palermo, I tasted this exceptional and delicious volcanic wine.

Der Ätna ist ein aktiver sizilianischer Vulkan. Der dramatischste Ausbruch hat Sizilien besonders reich und fruchtbar gemacht. Vulkanasche und Lava füllen den Boden mit Nährstoffen wie Magnesium, Kalzium, Natrium, Eisen und Kalium. Deshalb sind die Weine der Ethnas einzigartig.

Genau hier, wo niemand etwas erwarten würde. Auf diesem kleinen Balkon mit Blick auf die vernachlässigten Stadtteile von Palermo probierte ich diesen außergewöhnlichen und köstlichen Vulkanwein.
