May be this is due to lack of education and living in a orthodox family where rituals are strictly followed by them. In our family too my mother is not allowed to wear salwar, she is allowed to wear saree only, which is quiet disturbing for me as I feel very bad for my mom. Although ,gradually this trend is changing.
Yeah, maybe. Majority though has this opinion. However, with this generation I hope to see more changes towards acceptance of less conservative things.
